How long does a residence permit take in Turkey?

Do I need to be present in Turkey to apply?
Yes — the in-person appointment at the Migration Directorate, including biometric data capture, cannot be completed remotely. We'll prepare everything else in advance to make that appointment quick.
What's the minimum health insurance coverage required?
